Job Objective & Safety/Security Sensitive Designation

This is a Safety-Sensitive Job for Purposes of the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment.
This position is considered Essential Personnel under the LRCVB Inclement Weather policy.

JOB OBJECTIVE: To supervise the security, traffic and crowd control, safety, and all emergency functions for Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau (LRCVB) facilities.

Essential Functions

Minimum Qualifications, Additional Requirements and Supervisory Responsibilities

These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through two (2) years of experience in security services at a large organization or a related area, and two (2) years of supervisory experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver’s License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position. Must show proof of valid automobile insurance before being approved to drive any LRCVB vehicle.
Must possess Standard First Aid and Community CPR certifications, or other certifications which incorporate Standard First Aid and Infant, Child and Adult CPR, within ninety (90) days of employment and maintain the certification for the duration of employment in this position.
Must be available to work evenings, holidays and weekends as required.
This position may require one or more of the following pre-employment screenings: drug and alcohol screening, or background investigation.

Buy-up Plan: Emp only: $43.86; Emp + Spouse: $327.65, Emp + Child(ren): $224.48; Family: $530.75. Two (2) plans to choose from: Base Plan (High Deductible); Buy-up Plan (Point of Service)

Base Plan: $2,000 deductible (in network), 100% after deductible
Buy-up Plan: $1,500 deductible (in network), $35 co-pay for PCP – $60 co-pay for specialist; Prescription co-pays: $15, $35, $60 (Retail Specialty: $100 copay)
Effective 1st of the month following 30 days of regular full-time employment
Dental Insurance – Emp: $0; Emp & Spouse: $11.45; Emp & Child: $15.99; Family: $30.39 per pay period
Delta Dental – $50 deductible except for Preventative Services
$0 deductible for Preventative Services
Maximum of $1,000 annual benefit per person per calendar year

$150 allowance for frames (once every 24 month frames/12 month lenses)

Life Insurance – LRCVB pays employee premium (dependent life not offered)
2 times annual salary rounded to the nearest thousands of coverage to a maximum of $350,000

Accidental Death and Dismemberment – LRCVB pays employee premium
2 times annual salary rounded to the nearest thousands of coverage
Effective 1st of the month following 30 days of regular full-time employment
Long Term Disability – LRCVB pays employee premium
Effective the first day of the month following 30 days of regular full-time employment.
Pension – Automatic enrollment, effective the first day of regular full-time employment
Defined Benefits Plan: 4.5% employee contribution/9% employer contribution
Vested after 5 years of service; Normal retirement age is 65.

Tuition Assistance – $1,000 per semester, up to $3,000 per calendar year, available after 6 months of employment.
