Job Title: Crooked Oaks RV Park Safety Team

Job Overview: The Crooked Oaks RV Park Safety Team plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of guests, residents, and property within the RV park premises. This position primarily involves monitoring entry and exit points, controlling access to the park, and enforcing park rules and regulations. The Safety Team is responsible for maintaining a visible presence, providing assistance to visitors, and promptly addressing any safety or security concerns that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor entry and exit points of the RV park to control access and ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises.

2. Greet guests and visitors in a courteous and professional manner, providing information about park rules, amenities, and services.

3. Verify the identity of guests and residents, issue parking passes, and maintain accurate records of visitor activity.

4. Enforce the park rules and regulations, including speed limits, noise ordinances, and pet policies, to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all.

5. Conduct regular patrols of the park grounds to identify any safety hazards, security breaches, or suspicious activities.

6. Respond promptly to emergency situations, such as medical incidents, accidents, or disturbances, and coordinate with appropriate authorities as needed.

7. Provide assistance and guidance to guests, residents, and contractors as required, including directing traffic and offering directions.

8. Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect any unusual activity or security breaches.

9. Report any maintenance issues, property damage, or safety concerns to park management for prompt resolution.

10. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, representing the RV park in a positive light to visitors and the surrounding community.

11. Attend regular safety and security training sessions to stay updated on protocols, procedures, and best practices.

12. Collaborate with other members of the safety team and park staff to ensure a coordinated approach to security and emergency response.

13. Operate computer systems effectively to log incidents, update records, and communicate with park management.

14. Use email and text efficiently for communication within the park management team and with external parties.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or customer service preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant during long periods of observation.

Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods.

Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.

Basic computer skills for record-keeping and accessing security systems.

Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. (This is very important)

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if required for patrol duties).
