Metro South Protective Service and Investigations is actively seeking qualified candidates for the position of School Resource Officer. This critical role is focused on maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and school facilities.
Key Responsibilities :
– Maintain a visible presence on campus to deter and respond to incidents.
– Collaborate with school administrators to develop and implement safety protocols.
– Conduct investigations into incidents occurring on school property.
– Serve as a liaison between the school and local law enforcement agencies.
Qualifications:
– ** State of Florida Security Licenses D & G
** required.
– CPR Certification;
Basic Life Support (BLS) is a plus.
– Must be fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
– Computer literate, with basic knowledge of technology and reporting tools.
– Able and willing to work in various weather conditions.
– Physically able to stand for extended periods.
