Job Summary:
As a Security Monitor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of students and premises by conducting surveillance and security checks. Your role will involve monitoring doors, recording door checks, monitoring restrooms and monitor students and visitors as they pass through metal detectors. .
Responsibilities:
– perform daily door checks and record your observations.
– Monitor heavily used doors to insure only student enter the building.
– monitor students and visitors as they pass through metal detectors and search bags.
– monitor hallways
– monitor restroom and assist with vape detection.
– monitor cafeteria during lunch periods.
– all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
– Ability to walk and stand for extended lengths of time.
– Strong attention to detail and ability to remain alert during shifts.
– Excellent communication skills with the capability to handle challenging situations calmly.
Work Schedule:
– This position works schools days only, which totals 187 working days per year.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 – $15.53 per hour
