SECOND OFFICER/RELIEF CHIEF OFFICER

Prince Rupert

We are seeking a highly motivated Second Officer, Relief Chief Officer to fill a casual position in Prince Rupert.

In this position, you will stand a watch as the Navigating Officer of the vessel. You should have considerable knowledge of applicable navigating equipment and techniques, corporate policies and procedures applicable to the position, international, federal and provincial regulations, safety and emergency procedures, ship handling principles, stability, seamanship, and deck maintenance.

As duties will vary depending on business requirements, a flexible attitude is essential. You are extremely safety-conscious. You hold a valid Chief Mate, Near Coastal Certificate or higher and a valid Seafarer’s Medical certificate.
