We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team at a senior living community. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety and security of residents, staff, and visitors while maintaining a welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and patrol the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations and reporting findings.
Provide assistance to residents and visitors, addressing their concerns and ensuring a safe environment.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
Enforce community rules and regulations while promoting a positive atmosphere.
Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification is a plus.
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations.
Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
