Location: Chicago, IL
Front Door Security Guard/Host:Ensure the safety and security of a company’s personnel, guests & property.
Success in this role will be demonstrated by your ability to prevent and properly respond to any illicit behavior or hazardous situations within facilities and premises.
Hours:
Friday (10pm-2am) and Saturday (10pm-3am) availability
Roles & Responsibilities:
Stay at the front door at all times
Check ID’s (Everyone must be 21+)
Communicate all potential issues with the manager on duty
Protect property
Deter criminal activity
Deny guests that are too inebriated
Keep in/out click of both floors to adhere to capacity
Write up incident reports
Stay alert, watching for anything unusual
Respectful and professional demeanor to guests and staff at all times
Zero drug and alcohol tolerance
Assist team with politely escorting any unruly guests
Clock in/out
Check out with manager on duty before leaving
Uphold our policies and safety protocols:
No ball caps
No outside food or beverage
Making sure guests aren’t exiting with any glassware/property of the venue
Job requirements:
2 Years Experience
College diploma
No criminal record
Physically fit
Well-trained in self-defense
First aid certification is a plus
Attentive, observant, and alert
Good knowledge of basic safety and security protocols
Critical thinker and has problem-solving skills
Honesty
Reliable
Clear communication
De-escalation skills
Job Attire: All black suit with no logo
