J. Polep Distribution Services is looking for a full time Security Officer to join our team in Chicopee, MA.
Position Summary:
The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, employees, and the general public. The ideal candidate will be able to perform a variety of tasks related to detecting and preventing criminal activity, theft, and the prevention of damage to property.
Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age
Valid Guard Card
High School Diploma or Equivalent
The ability to communicate effectively with the public, management and employees.
The ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
Must be able to pass a background check with no felonies or violent crimes
The ability to stand and walk continuously for 8 hours or more in a climate-controlled environment.
Must have CPR First Aid Certification
