Job Title: 1099 Contractor Security Team Members
Location: Downtown Louisville
Compensation: $15/hr
We are seeking experienced and reliable individuals to stand by the door during events, ensuring that only authorized guests enter. Occasional shifts, as requested by our clients. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter criminal activity, and respond to any security incidents that may arise.
Responsibilities:
Monitor the entrance during events to prevent unauthorized access.
Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Communicate effectively with event staff and attendees.
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of all individuals on site
Respond promptly to calls for assistance, and take appropriate action as necessary
Write detailed incident reports documenting any security-related incidents or observations
Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering questions, and providing directions
Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
Requirements:
Previous experience in security is required.
Must be reliable and punctual.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed in potentially high-pressure situations.
First aid and CPR certification is a plus
Strong conflict management skills
