Beyond Security is seeking a qualified and licensed Unarmed Security Officer to join our team in Ocala, Florida. As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This position requires vigilant observation skills, quick decision-making, and strong communication abilities. Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of company rules and client policies.
Conduct regular inspections and maintain high vigilance to deter potential risks.
Respond to alarms and emergencies, coordinating with local law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
Communicate effectively with other security personnel, site supervisors, and property management to address any issues.
Complete detailed incident reports accurately and on time.
Enforce company and client policies and procedures, ensuring compliance.
Perform regular access control checks, verifying identification and ensuring only authorized individuals enter restricted areas.
Provide outstanding customer service, assisting visitors and tenants with questions or directions as needed.
Qualifications:
Valid Security Officer License for Florida (required)
Previous experience as a security officer or in a related field (preferred)
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong observational and problem-solving skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to team goals
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to work in varying weather conditions
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally
Additional Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older
Must pass a background check
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Schedule:
Flexible schedule; may include weekends, nights, and holidays
