Job Summary
This is a PRN Position. Will require traveling to different counties, to cover shifts. The Armed Guard is responsible for maintaining a secure environment by protecting property, personnel, and assets. This role requires a vigilant and proactive individual who can respond effectively to security threats while ensuring the safety of all individuals on-site. The Armed Guard will utilize their training in law enforcement or military experience to enforce rules and regulations, conduct surveillance, and manage conflicts.
Duties
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
Conduct thorough inspections of premises and property to ensure security measures are in place.
Utilize CCTV and surveillance equipment to monitor activities and identify potential threats.
Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary to report incidents or suspicious behavior.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
Engage in conflict management techniques to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
Skills
Proven experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Proficient in operating CCTV systems and conducting surveillance operations.
Strong understanding of loss prevention strategies and techniques.
Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Strong observational skills with attention to detail for identifying security risks.
Effective communication skills for interacting with diverse individuals in various situations.
