Barbier Security Group (BSG) is looking for a Part-Time individual for the essential and support role of a Security Administrator Officer in a hospital setting in Marin County. This position is responsible for supporting Security Leadership to ensure Security protocols and systems are compliant. You will assist with the functions of physical and personal security and safety measures that affect members, patients, staff, and visitors. The responsibilities of the Hospital Security Administrator vary, and provide a diverse set of duties in a Healthcare environment.

Days:Monday, Wednesday, Friday (Part-Time)

Hours: 7am – 3:30pm

Hourly Rate:$28.00 per hour

Requirements and Qualifications

Must be willing to provide a record of, or obtain, site’s required immunizations.

Two years of experience in an administrative position preferred, hospital setting is a plus

Must be at least 18 years old.

Eligibility to work in the United States.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Possess a current California Guard Card License.

Reliable transportation is necessary.

Proficient in basic computer and smartphone usage.

Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to create accurate reports; additional language skills are a plus.

Strong listening skills, patience, and compassion, particularly when interacting with community members experiencing emotional or psychological challenges.

Ability to remain calm in crisis situations, think critically, de-escalate conflicts, and communicate effectively.

Maintain a positive, professional demeanor in adherence to all laws, regulations, company policies, and confidentiality standards.

Ensure compliance with both company and client policies and procedures while being open to performance improvement.

Possess a clear understanding of emergency response procedures and protocols.

At least one year of experience in security, mobile patrol, or event staff roles.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Successfully pass a background check and drug screening.

Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

Badge and Access Management: Process and print badge requests, assist with access permissions, and maintain detailed logs of all activity.

Key Management: Handle and log all key requests, maintaining communication with requestors and ensuring timely fulfillment.

Emergency Equipment Testing: Perform routine checks on duress buttons and emergency phone towers to ensure readiness.

Inventory Management: Track supplies for badging and escalate restocking needs as required.
