Who We Are
Green Dragon is a growing cannabis retailer with one grow and many stores in the state of Colorado as well as one grow and many stores in the state of Florida. We are looking for a Lead Security, to join our rapidly growing organization. We are on a mission to enhance safe access to legal cannabis, educate people about cannabis as a tool for wellness, and drive smart cannabis policies.
Job Purpose
Maintains a safe environment by watching cameras, and patrolling Specific locations within the warehouse.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Leads the team of Security employees as assigned
· Check identification of all visitors at the entrance
· Ensure that visitors sign in and out according to the company’s visitor policy
· Open the main entrance door and gate for authorized personnel and visitors
· Accept and sign for deliveries from various courier services such as UPS, FedEx, DHL
· Notify the relevant personnel of the delivery and ensure that it is directed to the appropriate department or individual
· Remain present at the front desk/computer station during assigned hours.
· Provide basic information to visitors and direct them to the appropriate contact within the facility
· Handle basic administrative tasks as required
· Watches security cameras and reports any suspicious activities
· Patrols the warehouse on a regular basis to ensure there’s no activity
· Assists the packaging department if time allows
· Other duties and responsibilities as required
Qualifications
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Previous management, key holder, or other leadership experience required
· Must be 21 years of age or older
· Reliable transportation
· Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
· Must have valid Driver’s License
Working Conditions
Long periods of sitting and/or standing, noisy work environment, warehouse temperature
affected by outside conditions
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. and be able to stand, sit, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach.
