Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Patrol Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining safety and security within designated areas, ensuring a safe environment for all individuals. This role requires a proactive approach to loss prevention, effective conflict management skills, and the ability to respond swiftly to emergencies.
Duties
Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect criminal activity or violations of regulations.
Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to identify suspicious behavior and respond appropriately.
Engage with the public in a professional manner while providing assistance and information as needed.
Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
Document incidents and prepare reports detailing observations and actions taken during patrols.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as required to ensure community safety.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and property damage.
Maintain knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and security protocols.
Requirements
Previous experience in law enforcement or security is preferred.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to pass background checks as required by law enforcement standards.
A military background is a plus but not mandatory.
