Position Function and Duties
This Security Analyst has responsibilities to ensure the agency’s digital assets are protected from unauthorized access by identifying, investigating, and resolving potential security breaches. This is done by conducting security assessments through vulnerability testing and risk analysis; and performing both internal and external security audits. All functions are performed in accordance with the Agency’s strategy and the Innovation and Technology Department policies, procedures, and guidelines with minimal direction from management.
Position Duties include but are not limited to:
Manage assigned responsibilities to include managing permissions, and access rights in accordance with best-practices regarding privacy, security and regulatory compliance.
Generate statistics and prepare reports for management and/or team members on security posture.
