Skills and Requirements
• Experience with network security (Firewalls, SSL, VPN, IPSec, Wireshark, etc.)
• Knowledge of cryptography (Certificates, Protocols, Ciphers)
• Administration of Linux and Microsoft operating systems
• Scripting experience with PowerShell
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Intune, Active Directory, GPO, etc.
• Knowledge of OWASP, email filtering, and web filtering
• Vulnerability management and remediation
• Incident response and ticketing tools (Jira, MAP)
• Documentation and report writing skills
Specific Expertise
• Important:
•Knowledge of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) – Symantec will be replaced with a Microsoft solution (Purview/Defender)
• Web Application Firewall
• Operating Systems Hardening
• Infrastructure as Code automation (Ansible, Terraform, etc.)
• Experience with REST APIs
• Project Management (MAP)
