The IT Security department within the IT group is responsible for the definition of the security requirements, implementation and compliance monitoring to security policies, maintenance and improvement on security platforms and technologies, management of security operations, and provision of vulnerability management services across all ITG business units.
As a Security Analyst for Service Management, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective delivery of security services and solutions to the Bank using relevant security metrics, and compliance measures.
Role Responsibilities:
Provide recommendation and strategy on technical controls to ensure that security and compliance requirements are met – Data Governance, Privilege Access, Supply Chain Cybersecurity controls and processes, IT Security related deviations, and alike.
Manages overall risk health and compliance of IT Security Department, to internal BDO standards and policies and external regulatory requirements and mandates.
Measures and reports key performance of IT Security services and all identified risks for improvement and management.
Communicates and conduct trainings on IT Security related topics to ensure awareness.
Conduct supply chain risk monitoring and reporting as an additional risk management measure of the bank.
Competencies:
Technical Skills: Background in Security Monitoring, Application Programming, O365, Cloud Security, System Administration and Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing.
Presentation and Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences and build consensus
Analytical Skills: Problem-solving capabilities, strong analytical skills, and flexibility to be able to handle complex situations as necessary
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Qualifications:
Graduate of Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic and Communication Engineering or similar.
Experience in risk management; audit management; and metrics and reporting, training and awareness are a must.
Exposure in compliance reviews, vendor management, project management, ITIL service management are great advantages.
Preferably with more than 3 years of relevant IT Security experience but fresh graduates are also welcome to apply
CISSP and/or CISM is a plus, but not mandatory
Candidate must be willing to work in Makati.
