Job Overview SummaryThe Security Analyst I will monitor system networks for security issues, install security software, perform analytical tasks in identifying device and user security compliance, and investigate and document security issues. They will support the implementation of industry-leading practices around cyber risks and participate in activities supporting threat hunting, vulnerability management, and incident response.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Operational support for information security tool alerts, triaging, and maintenance.

Analyze and report on information security activities such as vulnerability management, infrastructure security, business continuity, networking, risk management, etc.

Perform first level incidence response and system forensics activities.

Assess security controls and evaluate security posture of organizational internal controls.

Analyze and recommend procedures to counter security breaches, anticipating and reducing the likelihood of future security alerts, incidents, and disasters.

Participate in keeping the security systems up to date.

Monitoring security access and maintaining the relevant data

Conducting vulnerability testing and risk analyses to assess security and performing internal and external security audits.

Analyzing security breaches to identify the cause and to update incidence responses and disaster recovery plans.

Assist with implementation, and enforcement of security standards.

Facilitates the day-to-day operations of the in-place security solutions.

Characterize and analyze systems traffic to identify anomalous activity and potential threats to network resources.

Location

This role is open to candidates working remotely in the United States.

Basic Qualifications

E/B.Tech (Preferably in Computer Science), BCA or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

Security+, SSCP, or GSCE certification preferred

3+ years experience with the following technologies:

Microsoft Windows Server & Server grade Linux

Microsoft Azure, Office 365, & Active Directory

PaloAlto products including Cortex XDR and NGFW
