Job Description

Ensures the successful execution of the facility security plan. Ensure that the facility meets housekeeping standards in support areas. Ensures procedures, people and resources are aligned to accomplish established goals in regard to BRC standards, efficiency and safety.

Duties/Activities Required by Job

Enforce the facilities security plan to meet BRC & USDA compliance.

Ensure that the support area(s) of the plant are cleaned according to established guidelines.

Coordinate with local law enforcement.

Meeting department metrics; Cost/ lb.

Follow prescribed HR/ Safety policies and procedures, completing Kronos and Fusion time off requests on a timely basis, completing safety and certification training.

Educations/Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or a related field, or

5-7 years demonstrated security management experience, must include experience managing staff, scheduling and operating budget.

General knowledge of law enforcement policies and procedures. Maintains and develops relationships with local and state law enforcement agencies. Must possess good employee and community relations, a high level of professionalism and a high degree of discretion with sensitive and confidential information.
