Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Duties
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Conduct regular inspections of premises, including surveillance of CCTV systems.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, taking appropriate action.
Enforce rules and regulations while providing excellent customer service.
Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and implementing preventive measures.
Provide first aid and CPR as needed, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents.
Qualifications
Certification in security or related field is preferred.
Experience in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
Knowledge of surveillance systems, including CCTV operation.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
First aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
Familiarity with loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.
