Security Associate Jobs in Long Island City, NY at Nice Yield Dispensary – Long Island City
Local Security company is looking for several armed security officers and Executive protection agents in Louisville and surrounding area for occasional contract work. Applicants must be physically fit and able to stand and/or walk for over 8 hours. Officers must have good communication skills, have at least one year of armed guard or Executive Protection experience and be a US military Veteran. Reliable transportation and Cell Phone is also required. Team uses WhatsApp and Timestamp Camera App for mission communications, so contractors must agree to download them.
VETERANS PREFERRED!
This is a NOT a full time or part time offer, It is ADHOC which indicates “on occasion”, however we have a constant need in Louisville.
Responsibilities
Maintain order and establish security presence.
Provide assistance to clients and customers.
Maintain communication with assigned chat groups regarding work incidents, work availability, and reporting work hours.
Skills & Requirements
Proven experience as security officer and a military veteran
Knowledge of security and public safety
Must have dependable cell phone and respond to job messages in a timely manner.
Armed Security Officers must be able to provide their own equipment including Tan or black tactical pants, duty belt, holstered weapon. A black company polo will be provided. Executive Protection agents must have a suit and concealed carry set-up.
Must communicate well with others and be prompt to respond.
Must have de-escalation skills and willingness to provide customer service.
Must have the ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
