We have anexcitingopportunity for a Security Assurance Manager to join ourdynamiccyber security team in the telecoms sector.
Key Responsibilities of the Security Assurance Manager include:
Penetration Testing:
Manage pen test programs and coordinate remediation activities.
Validate potential vulnerabilities internally or externally.
Guidance andCollaboration:
Provide guidance on application security and Dev Sec Ops best practices.
Collaborate on security content development and Red/Purple Team exercises.
Reporting and Escalation:
Liaise with SAAC and business teams to track product vulnerabilities.
Stakeholder Management:
Manage internal stakeholders and suppliers, organizing vulnerability management meetings.
Risk Reduction:
Liaise withleadership, business, finance, SAAC, and GRC to progress issues.
Additional Responsibilities:
Support security champions and manage the penetration testing program.
Collaborate with Software Engineers and SREs to ensure product security.
Conduct product security training and workshops.
The successful Security Assurance Manager will have:
· Experience with industry security standards and regulations.
· Knowledge of security and risk management, emerging threats, and vulnerabilities.
· Strongleadershipand facilitation skills.
· Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of driving change.
· Knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and network security.
· Familiarity with penetration testing principles and tools.
· Understanding of OWASP, static anddynamicanalysis, and vulnerability management.
· Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSLP, OCSP, GIAC, GPEN).
· University Degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
