Your new role
As an Information Security Consultant, you will be responsible for executing security assurance tasks for a government entity. Your role involves performing security risk assessments, audits, technical validations, and certification processes. Additionally, you will provide security expertise, support security awareness initiatives, and act as a subject-matter expert in information security.
What you’ll need to succeed
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
You will be expected to communicate findings and risk positions to a range of staff, including project teams and management.
You should have core knowledge in information security and be willing to expand this knowledge.
You will participate in training to upskill and engage in regular knowledge sharing within the team.
