Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Security to join our Charlotte team. As the Director of Security, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our organization’s administrative and sales operations. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining a professional environment.
Duties:
– Supervise subordinate personnel to ensure adherence to our policies and procedures
– Manage and supervise security officers, including hiring, PPSB training, and on-going performance evaluations
– Conduct regular security assessments of client’s property to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities and recommend strategies to reduce vulnerabilities
– Coordinate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services as needed
– Monitor surveillance systems and respond to any suspicious activities or incidents
– Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
– Investigate security breaches or incidents and provide detailed reports
– Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including staff, clients, and external partners
– Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies and best practices
Qualifications:
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in security management or a related field
– Strong knowledge of security practices and procedures
– CPR and First Aid certification preferred
– Experience with surveillance systems and other security technologies
– Excellent conflict management and problem-solving skills
– Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, including report writing skills
– Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle emergency situations calmly
– Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
