Metro Security is looking for sharp, reliable, and customer-focused Unarmed Security Guards to help us keep our buildings and communities safe. Whether you’re patrolling, keeping a close eye on surveillance systems, or assisting a visitor with a smile, you’ll be at the front line of safety and service.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Control Access Like a Pro: Make sure only authorized individuals enter the premises. Verify IDs and monitor entrances.
Stay on the Move: Conduct regular patrols of buildings, parking lots, and surrounding areas—always alert and ready to act.
Watch & Report: Use surveillance equipment to monitor the property, spotting suspicious activity before it becomes a problem.
Handle Emergencies: Be ready to jump into action in case of incidents, disturbances, or safety threats. Stay calm, act fast.
Be the Friendly Face: Provide top-notch customer service to residents, staff, and visitors. You’re not just security—you’re support.
Enforce the Rules: Uphold all safety and security protocols. Keep things running smoothly and safely.
Stay Connected: Communicate clearly with fellow officers, supervisors, and emergency services. Keep accurate records and incident logs.
Lock It Down: Check access points, doors, and windows to ensure everything is secure and in good working order.
What You Bring to the Table:
A high school diploma or equivalent
Prior security experience preferred (but not required—we train the right people!)
Strong communication skills and a calm, professional presence
Physical readiness for a role that keeps you on your feet
Availability for various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Basic understanding of emergency procedures and quick decision-making
