Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Security Engineer located in Cairo, Egypt. The Security Engineer will be responsible for network security, cybersecurity, and information security tasks on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications
Proficiency in firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet), PAM solutions, SIEM systems, and other cybersecurity monitoring tools.
Experience in Cybersecurity and Security Engineering
Knowledge of Information Security
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
Experience with security tools and technologies
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Availability
8×5 support with on-call availability for 24×7 critical issue response.
Response Time: Prompt support required—30 minutes for critical issues, 2 hours for standard requests.
Site Visits
Primarily remote; occasional visits only under exceptional circumstances.
