Cyber Security Engineer – CISSP / CompTIA+, Azure, Microsoft Defender, Endpoint Protection, Insurance Broker
Our client, a leading insurance broker, is seeking an experiencedCyber Security Engineerto join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a 24×7 SOC service, monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats, while ensuring compliance with financial services security regulations.
Key Skills & Expertise:
CISSP or CompTIA Security+ accreditation preferred.
Strong knowledge of Azure security tools (Defender for Cloud, Entra ID, Conditional Access).
Experience with Microsoft Defender 365, endpoint protection, and EDR tools (e.g., Sophos).
Expertise in Exchange Online, Mimecast/Proofpoint, Active Directory security, and SIEM platforms (Sentinel, Hunters).
Solid understanding of incident response processes, root-cause analysis, and ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
It is essential to come from a Financial Services or Insurance industry background to be considered for this opportunity.
