We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join a global financial institution and drive excellence in application security and vulnerability management. You will play a key role in embedding security into the application development lifecycle, ensuring a robust and efficient vulnerability management process across the bank’s applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a scalable vulnerability management model, ensuring timely identification, assessment, and remediation of security issues.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Conduct application security assessments, including vulnerability scanning, code reviews, and penetration testing.
Provide actionable insights and training to developers to mitigate risks and improve secure coding practices.
Implement and optimize security tools for vulnerability scanning and application protection.
Stay informed on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies to adapt and improve the bank’s security posture.
Requirements:
Proven experience in application security and vulnerability management in large organizations.
Strong understanding of secure coding, threat modeling, and vulnerability remediation.
Proficiency in application security tools (e.g., SAST, DAST, vulnerability scanners).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
