Role: Security Engineer
Location: Washington, DC / Chantilly, VA
Work model: HYBRID – Fulltime (1-2 days in the office)
Salary: $100,000 – $200,000
CANDIDATE MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE
Must haves:
Ensure network security for the customer’s LAN environment, remote access, site-to-site VPNs, wireless networks, and TIC, while also supporting the WAN, including upgrades, patches, and other maintenance tasks.
Manage, monitor, and implement security solutions such as physical and cloud-based firewalls, proxies, VPN concentrators, and related network protection technologies.
Oversee and maintain the Cisco ISE environment for identity management.
Develop, enforce, and sustain network operating rules, objects, and traffic flows across the customer’s infrastructure, utilizing Fortigate to secure and monitor firewalls.
Conduct critical analysis of network infrastructure to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and reduced security risks.
Implement, configure, operate, maintain, and replace internal Proofpoint Mail Servers as needed.
