Responsibilities
Design, document, and deploy security architectures for tools and technologies in line with industry standards and best practices
Develop and implement strategies for data classification and data protection
System Hardening: Secure *nix/Windows platforms through best practices in system hardening and Linux system security
Manage and enhance Secret Management systems and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) to ensure secure access and data encryption
Proactively automate security processes within area of responsibility and integrate them into existing systems to improve efficiency and minimize risks
Support compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to standards such as ISO 27001 and DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act)
Provide expertise and coordinate data protection activities across teams to ensure compliance and efficiency
Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain security measures
Perform research and lead proof-of-concept initiatives to identify and evaluate potential security technologies
Requirements
5+ years as a Security Engineer focusing on data protection, network and IT security
Hands-on experience implementing ISO 27001 and familiarity with DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) standards
Business level proficiency in English or above (equivalent to B2 or above in CEFR) h
Technical Knowledge
Expertise in Data Classification and Data Protection Proficient Network Security, and Linux System Security
Experience with Secret Management systems and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
Strong knowledge of IT Asset Management from a security perspective
Experience in Cybersecurity/IT Risk Management
Familiarity with proactive automation for security systems
Experience in scripting for process automation (Python, PowerShell, or Bash)
Nice to have
Knowledge in Cloud security
Master’s degree in Information Security or related field
Network administration and/or Cybersecurity certifications
