Part time Security Escort (SORA) – Screener with TWIC Card

This job entails providing Restricted Area security at various Terminals in New Jersey Area by providing security escorts for foreign seafarers. Security Officer is responsible for providing screening and transportation of crewmen and/or others to terminals in and around Carteret, NJ BASED UPON SHIP ARRIVALS/DEPARTURES.
You will take a company van and, as dispatched, provide pickup and dispersal of foreign personnel.
You must do Restricted Area screening on all bags/cargo/personnel BEFORE any entry into a Restricted Area Terminal. You will keep the necessary screening records to ensure compliance.
This is a PART-TIME job with NO SET HOURS…all on-call, 24/7 as needed.
LOCATION: IN and around Carteret, NJ
General shifts you will be “on-call” – 0800-1800 (M-F) and an occasional weekend
PAY: $40.00 per hour PLUS hourly wage beyond 1st hour
QUALIFICATIONS:
SORA
TWIC
Valid Drivers License
Fluent in both spoken and written English
Punctuality
Follow Instructions concisely and precisely
No fear of Heights
Ability to lift 25 pounds
Training is provided at a training hourly rate.
GPS monitored Company vehicle provided for use during shift for escort terminal calls only.
