Our Supervisors are responsible for providing professionalcustomer-focusedsecurity and life safety services for the people and the property they protect and our employees that they lead. The position is responsible for day-to-dayleadershipand supervision of a portfolio of customer accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities
A trueLeadershipposition
Ensure quality services are provided to meet customer expectations and contract requirements
Regularly inspect, supervise, train, coach, mentor, and lead security personnel assigned to the facility/building
Perform operations-related functions that include scheduling, overtime management, review of daily logs and incident reports, training, and development of staff
Assist in monitoring/developing staff performance to include supervision, evaluations, disciplinary matters, training, scheduling, callouts, and assigning work
Assist in maintainingup-to-dateand accurate timekeeping systems and records for staff
Provide immediate response to emergencies and issues that arise
Follow and coordinate established emergency response, action planning, and procedures
Maintain availability to portfolio of accounts assigned
May be required to initiate preliminary investigations into incidents
Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities, as required
Prepare required weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly manager reports
Assist to procure, process, and maintain uniforms and equipment
The essential duties and responsibilities may differ by customer location assigned
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
State or municipality mandated security officer licenses
Candidates should possess some of the following verifiable **
1-3+ years civilian law enforcement or private or corporate security experience
2-4+ years military experience with a favorable discharge
Must have reliable means ofcommunicationand transportation
Must have a security guard license or be able to obtain one within an acceptable period
Strong interpersonalcommunication skills
Ability to work in afast-paced, customer service environment
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and problem solve
Good computer skills including Microsoft Office
Compensation
Harvard Protection Services offers a competitive wage of $25.00 for the Field Supervisor’s position, along with health & welfare, dental, vision, life and long-term disability (LTD) insurance, and a 401K Savings Plan. The position is a full-time, salaried, exempt position.
