As one of our shift Field Supervisors, you will be part of the Operations Team that oversees and manages no more than 25 officers per shift.Position: Swing/Evening shift is currently open.Hours are 2pm-10pm. Must work weekends.1-year prior security field supervision experience is required.Valid CDL and clean driving record required.
Role and Responsibilities: Support scheduling changes and emergency call-offs by redeploying the staff/using rovers. Administer corrective action to enhance the quality of security officer work, performance, appearance, and the company image. Ability to provide BSIS-approved training to subordinates. Ensure compliance with client requirements by training and supervising others. Training new officers at their posts. As a last resort, fill in at assignments where other personnel is not available. Working with clients on service issues and improving the quality of services we provide. Inspect the field team and support excellent morale. Writing brief reports and helping officers prepare more accurate documentation.
Communicate company policies and procedures to all subordinates.
Conduct uniform/equipment inspections of subordinates.
Assist the scheduling department with the filling of open shifts, by responding immediately to open shifts and making phone calls to cover the openings as needed.
Conduct daily visits to some locations using our company vehicle.
Assists as needed with complaints from clients and or client’s customers.
Assist with Investigations of accidents, thefts, property losses, homicides, or other unlawful activities as directed by the Operations Team.
Adapt and work extended hours, flex days off if needed, respond off-duty if needed and as directed by Operations.
Attend meetings and special events as directed by the Operations Team.
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections on all patrol vehicles and report all discrepancies.
Represent the company in a professional manner at all times, even off-duty.
Understand that you are personally liable for the proper use of the issued Company Credit Card and any other issued company property (i.e. Cell phone and or tablet.)
Operate any vehicle company or personal, professionally and lawfully while on duty.
Brief other Operations Team members of any unusual occurrences that happened on your shift.
Ensure Security Guards provide high-quality services to protect people and property.
Maintain excellent attendance, punctuality, and performance throughout your employment as a Field Supervisor.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Must have at least 1 year of field supervisory experience.
Must have clean driving record. Position requires driving company vehicle.
Must be able to pass criminal background check.
Must be able to learn, teach, mentor, and coach others.
Possess a positive mindset and professional demeanor.
Exhibit effective written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public in a professional and effective manner.
Use initiative and independent judgment within a set of established guidelines.
Have basic computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at specific client sites.
