**Job Summary:**
As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients. Your primary duties may include driving clients, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, and controlling access points to prevent unauthorized entry. You will also be required to maintain docomentation and comply with reporting procedures, respond to emergencies, and enforce security protocols. Note that the stated experience level is a minimum.
**Duties May Include (there are multiple accounts with differing responsibilities):**
– Follow pickup/ dropoff procedures for vehicles.
– Follow pickup/ dropoff procedures for clients.
– Monitor surveillance systems to ensure the security of the premises.
– Conduct regular patrols to check for any signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
– Control access points by verifying identification and issuing visitor badges.
– Respond promptly to alarms or calls for assistance in case of emergencies.
– Enforce security policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment.
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
– Complete incident reports detailing any security breaches or incidents.
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting employees and visitors with inquiries.
**Skills:**
– Possess a valid California Security License.
– Possess a valid driver’s license.
– Knowledge of CPR, first aid, and conflict management strategies.
– Familiarity with security systems.
– Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
– Law enforcement or military experience preferred.
**Requirements:**
– High school diploma or equivalent is required.
– Previous experience in security with law enforcement or military is preferred.
– Must be able to obtain necessary security clearances as mandated by the employer.
– Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
