Allegria Village, a secure senior living community in Dearborn, is looking for a gatehouse attendant to join our team.
MUST have at least 3-years of Security experience and be First Aid Certified to be considered for this position.
Shift: This is for our afternoon shift (3pm-11pm) and weekends are required (you are eligible to have one weekend off per month).
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for logging of visitors, residents, and employees.
Directs traffic on campus property.
Completes Daily Rounds Reports.
Daily rounds of the building and grounds.
Continuous patrols of property and facilities.
Completes Incident Reports (regarding medical response calls, theft of
property, accidents, fires, serious mechanical malfunctions, emergency
response, and violations of rules and regulations).
Responds to medical emergencies.
Performs additional duties as assigned by management to ensure the
effective and efficient operation of the Community.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Three (3) years job related experience
First Aid Certification Required
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
As applicable, basic proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook and Excel) with the ability to learn new applications
Competent in organizational and time management skills
Demonstrates good judgement, decision making, and problem-solving skills
Able to work independently or as a team
Ability to solve problems as they arise
Attention to details
Ability to react appropriately in stressful situations
Must have valid driver’s license
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GED
