Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. This position requires excellent observation skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to handle potentially challenging situations with professionalism.
Duties:
– Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety of all individuals on-site
– Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify any suspicious activities or security breaches
– Respond promptly to alarms or calls for assistance and take appropriate action
– Maintain accurate logs and reports of incidents, accidents, or any unusual occurrences
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering inquiries, and directing them to the appropriate locations
– Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and ensuring authorized entry
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
– Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property
– Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs
Requirements:
– Valid Security Guard certificate/license
– Proven experience in security or related field is preferred
– Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively
– Knowledge of first aid/CPR is an asset
– Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
– Understanding of law enforcement procedures and regulations
– Excellent surveillance skills with attention to detail
– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
