Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team for the evening shift. As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our parking facility during the designated hours. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and have a passion for ensuring the protection of property and personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Patrol the parking facility premises regularly to detect and deter any suspicious activity.
Monitor security cameras and alarm systems to ensure prompt response to any security breaches or emergencies.
Conduct routine inspections of gates, fences, and other security equipment to ensure they are functioning properly.
Enforce parking regulations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Provide assistance and support to truck drivers and visitors as needed.
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency response personnel when necessary.
Complete detailed reports documenting security incidents, disturbances, or violations.
Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold the highest standards of customer service at all times.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in security or law enforcement preferred.
Valid security guard license or certification required.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
Physical ability to perform regular patrols and respond to emergencies as needed.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
