Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your role will involve surveillance, conflict management, and enforcing security protocols.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure security
– Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems
– Respond promptly to any security incidents or emergencies
– Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering the premises
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
– Complete detailed reports on security incidents and maintain accurate records
– Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property
Experience:
– Proven experience in security or related field is preferred
– Knowledge of surveillance techniques, CCTV systems, and alarm systems
– Familiarity with first aid procedures and CPR certification is a plus
– Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
– Understanding of law enforcement procedures and regulations
Requirements:
– Must possess a valid security guard license/certificate (if applicable)
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
– Attention to detail and strong observation skills
– Physical fitness to perform regular patrols and respond quickly in emergency situations
