Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Armed Security Officer will be expected to enforce policies, prevent loss, and ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises.
Duties
Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to identify potential threats.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing assistance as needed.
Conduct security checks on doors, windows, and other entry points to ensure they are secure.
Enforce facility rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Prepare detailed reports of incidents, observations, and any actions taken during shifts.
Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and provide support during investigations.
Provide first aid and CPR assistance in emergencies as required.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage.
Skills
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
Valid certification in armed security or law enforcement is preferred.
Proficient in operating surveillance systems and monitoring equipment (CCTV).
Knowledge of militarized security protocols is an asset.
Familiarity with first aid procedures and CPR certification is highly desirable.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential risks.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, staff, and law enforcement.

Pay: $15.00 – $23.00 per hour
