Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. This role involves monitoring premises, preventing theft, and ensuring the safety of individuals on-site. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in upholding security protocols and responding effectively to incidents.
Duties
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Operate and monitor CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities.
Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies.
Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order.
Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering First Aid or CPR when necessary.
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
Document incidents and prepare reports for management review.
Engage in conflict management to de-escalate potential issues.
Skills
Proficient in operating CCTV systems and surveillance equipment.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred.
Background in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques.
Excellent conflict management skills to handle challenging situations effectively.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions.
Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
