Job Title: Armed Security Officer
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your primary focus will be on preventing and responding to security incidents to ensure the protection of assets and individuals.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect and deter any suspicious activity
– Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to identify potential security threats
– Respond promptly to alarms or calls for assistance
– Enforce property regulations and emergency procedures
– Provide visible deterrence to prevent unauthorized access
– Complete thorough reports documenting any security incidents or breaches
– Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
Skills:
– Proficiency in first aid and CPR techniques
– Experience in surveillance and loss prevention strategies
– Possession of relevant certificates or licenses (e.g., armed security license)
– Ability to militarize quickly in high-stress situations
– Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security technologies
– Background in law enforcement or military service is a plus
– Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations effectively
