Fortified International is seeking a dedicated and professional Unarmed Security Officer to join our team. Immediate hiring is available for candidates with a valid Oregon State Guard License. Candidates are expected to show up for interviews in proper, professional attire.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety and security of customers, employees, and visitors by maintaining a secure environment.
Conduct foot patrols in designated areas to deter criminal activities and enforce store policies.
Monitor surveillance systems and alarms to detect and respond to potential security risks.
Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, ensuring a swift and effective resolution.
Prepare comprehensive reports detailing security incidents and daily activities.
Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting customers with directions, information, and inquiries.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
Strong conflict management skills, with the ability to remain calm and effective in challenging situations.
Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment with minimal supervision.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
