A Security Guard contributes to AHF by being responsible for protecting the company’s assets and ensuring the safety of its staff, tenants, contractors, guests, and visitors at AHF’s sites, including Healthy Housing (HHF) properties. In this role, you will leverage your training in security and implement strategies that protect our personnel and assets (including inventory of donations) at our Healthy Housing tenant facilities.
You will have full responsibility for implementing policies and procedures designed to achieve this important mission while coordinating and overseeing the in-house Security Guards Team.
A Security Guard enhances the reputation of AHF by being friendly, professional, and disciplined in the performance of their duties, recognizing potentially dangerous situations and responding in the safest and most effective manner. You will be a passionate advocate for our top initiatives.

AHF has acollaborativeorganizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders. The Security Guard will work as part of a close-knit team to establish and maintain working relationships with the Healthy Housing operational staff to ensure a safe and secure environment. Finally, you will utilize the existing Safety and Security Incident Reporting System to submit detailed reports regarding events and situations that occur while on duty.
