Job Summary:
We are seeking a vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure area watching over or escorting work crews within the airport property. Guards are stationed in their vehicles, at different checkpoints making sure the Construction Workers stay within their designated work zone.
Responsibilities:
– Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a visible security presence
– Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people on the property
– Use various forms of technology such as CCTV and alarms
– Conduct security checks over a specified area
– Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and irregularities
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a security officer or guard is preferred
– Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
– Familiarity with report writing
– Excellent surveillance and observation skills
– Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems
– Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve conflicts peacefully
– Certificate or training in security-related field is desirable
