LICENSED UNARMED GUARD – PART-TIME ONLY for Dayton, TN
Mature, responsible, and reliable part-time security guard needed to cover a regular part-time post in Dayton, TN. The current schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 5pm to 9pm. However, this is subject to change depending on contract needs. Active Unarmed Guard License required. Upon hire, other training will be required for Dallas Law Certifications. If you do not have Dallas Law certifications (CPR/AED/First Aid, De-Escalation Tactics, and Safe Restraint Techniques), our facility can train you.
Other part-time event work is available through events with UTC McKenzie Arena and Finley Stadium on weekends, as well. These events include bag checking, metal detectors, and wand scanners. Flexibility for getting scheduled to these events is required. Reliable transportation (no uber or car sharing) and active driver’s license is required.
Our team is required to always maintain a professional attitude with professional standards and appearance while on duty. Uniformed officers should report to duty clean, well groomed, and dressed neatly in only the authorized/issued uniform and wear the uniform as issued at all times while on duty.
Your appearance should be appropriate for the work environment. This includes hair, facial hair, jewelry, tattoos, body art, religious objects, etc.
Personal cell phone use is to be very limited and should not distract from duties. Being alert, vigilant, and caring about how others perceive you is an important part of this job and the authority that comes with the position. We want people who will do the right thing even if no one is watching.
