Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires keen observation skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activities.
Operate and maintain surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as necessary until professional help arrives.
Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a visible presence to deter potential threats.
Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to ensure safety compliance and identify any security vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required and provide detailed reports on incidents or breaches.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
Manage conflicts effectively by employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations.
Skills
Proficiency in operating surveillance systems, including CCTV technology.
Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Background in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
Strong understanding of loss prevention tactics and strategies.
Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Attention to detail with strong observational skills for identifying unusual activities or behaviors.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
