Full and Part Time for Afternoon and Overnight shifts at a FEDERAL LOCATION
Westmoreland Protection Agency, Inc., an industry leading security company is seeking experienced UNARMED SECURITY OFFICERS for the VA Healthcare System in San Diego County La Jolla. Must be available for afternoon and overnight shift.
Duties include visitor and employee screening, foot and access patrol of designated areas, access and egress control, traffic control and performing other duties as directed. Posts will be 8-12 hour shifts.
Essential job functions include:
Working 8-12 hour shifts
Afternoon, Overnight, Weekends and Holidays May be Required
Work under occasional tension or pressure;
Frequent and prolonged walking, standing, sitting, and stooping;
Respond to life threatening or emergency situations;
Other related duties.
Qualifications:
SKILLS AND TRAINING:
Must have a California Security Guard License
Must have a High School Diploma
1 years Security Experience
Excellent Customer Service Skills
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
MUST HAVE A CURRENT CALIFORNIA STATE GUARD CARD
Must have a valid state driver’s license
Must be Clean shaven
Must be at least 21 years old
Must successfully pass a Federal background check and drug screen
Must have excellent ENGLISH communications skills (verbal and written)’
‘Pay Frequency: Bi weekly or Twice monthly

Pay: From $23.16 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
