Our Security Officers support Harvard Protection in delivering top-tier security and life safety services.
Responsibilities include:
Maintaining a professional demeanor and assisting customers, employees, visitors, and guests.
Maintaining visibility within the assigned facility or building.
Monitoring the environment to detect suspicious or unsafe activities.
Familiarizing with incoming and outgoing traffic, and knowing the customers, tenants, visitors, and guests.
Greeting individuals professionally.
Answering phones professionally.
Permitting authorized access and monitoring entrances/exits.
Enforcing facility policies and procedures.
Performing patrols on foot or in vehicle.
Protecting company property and ensuring proper procedures for property removal.
Following emergency procedures.
Monitoring alarms and security systems.
Reporting incidents and suspicious activities.
Minimum requirements include:
State or municipal security officer licenses.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Ability to obtain a security guard license if not already licensed.
Reliable communication and transportation.
Strong interpersonal skills and professional appearance.
Experience in security, law enforcement, military, or customer service is helpful.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $19.00, with benefits including health & welfare, dental, vision, sick leave, vacation, and 401K.
Work hours include Sunday 6am to 2pm & 2pm to 10pm.
