Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Security Host to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements while maintaining a professional demeanor. You will also play the role of a safety consultant working hand in hand with our security teams in order to ensure a safe environment for all patrons. Your responsibilities will also include checking identification cards to ensure everyone entering is of age, doing initial pat-downs, wanding guests with hand held metal detectors, deescalating conflict, and helping to prevent vapes and the any weapons from potentially entering the building.
Duties
Greet guests promptly upon arrival and provide a warm welcome.
Manage the reservation system and ensure efficient seating arrangements.
Maintain an organized waitlist during peak hours and communicate wait times effectively.
Collaborate with servers and security staff to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
Assist in maintaining a safe environment by being aware of surroundings and potential hazards.

Requirements
Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, and security is preferred.
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
Ability to manage conflicts effectively and maintain composure under pressure.
Knowledge of first aid, CPR, or relevant certifications is a plus.
Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
A background in law enforcement or military service is considered an asset.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
