Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Protection Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to various situations, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Monitor premises through surveillance systems including CCTV to ensure safety and security.
Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills as necessary.
Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on-site.
Collaborate with law enforcement as needed during incidents or investigations.
Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
Assist in training new security personnel on protocols and procedures.
Qualifications
Previous experience in law enforcement or security roles is preferred.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Familiarity with surveillance technology including CCTV systems is advantageous.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies is a plus.
Must possess a valid certification related to security or protection services.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups.
A militarized background may be beneficial but is not mandatory.
